Objet Showcases Latest Desktop 3D Printers at National Manufacturing Week

Objet Geometries Asia Pacific Ltd., a subsidiary of Objet Geometries Ltd., an innovation leader in 3D printing for rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing, will showcase its latest affordable desktop 3D Printer – Objet24 - at its partner - XYZ Innovation’s - booth (No. 3811) at National Manufacturing Week (NMW 2011), to be held at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 24 – 27 May 2011.

In collaboration with its partner, XYZ Innovation, Objet will present its latest desktop 3D Printer – Objet24 – at the exhibition. Objet24 is the first office system to print true-to-life models with ultra-precision details, offering greater convenience to designers and product engineers; and ultimately, bringing affordable high-quality 3D printing in-house. Starting at only USD20,900*, Objet24 is designed for the office environment, providing low-cost 3D printing without compromising model quality and accuracy.

Objet family of 3D printers use patented inkjet-based technology to jet ultra-thin layers of photopolymer materials onto the build tray where each layer is cured with UV light. The process delivers models which can be handled immediately, with exceptional accuracy and allowing also complex geometry, including thin walls, overhangs and even moveable parts.

NMW 2011 is the largest annual manufacturing exhibition in Australia that aims to strengthen manufacturing through technology, innovation and education, showcasing the latest products and constantly evolving technologies in the expanding manufacturing market.
