New Equipment Digest Announces the KING Awards Competition

New Equipment Digest (NED), industry's most preferred and trusted source for product news, announced today a new awards program entitled the KING Awards competition. This unique program will acknowledge superior industrial product innovation and honor the best new products in 11 distinct categories, ranging from assembly, controls and electronics to facilities, material handling, safety and more. A panel of industry experts along with the readers of New Equipment Digest will bestow KING Award status to the companies that have shown ingenuity, creativity, and sustainability in the development of their new products.

"The KING Awards, named after NED's long-time Chief Editor Bob King, will recognize best-in-breed products that help manufacturers be more efficient and more competitive in today's global economy," said John DiPaola, vice president and group publisher of New Equipment Digest.

The competition will be open for all industrial products introduced during 2010 and 2011. Deadline for entries is December 9th, 2011. Winners will be announced in the April 2012 issue of New Equipment Digest and at IndustryWeek's Best Plants Conference, which will be held April 23-25 in Indianapolis.
