Mcor Technologies opens first US office in San Jose

Mcor Technologies Ltd, the manufacturer of the only paper 3D printer in the world, the Matrix 300, today announced that they have set up their first US office.

Mcor has taken an office at the Irish Innovation Centre in downtown San Jose; this will be the centre of their operations in the coming months ahead of the official launch of the Matrix in the US. “San Jose is a great location for a company like Mcor – this is a hub for any technology based business and the Irish Innovation Center will provide a great support system for our launch into the US market and beyond.” said Mcor CEO and co-founder Dr Conor MacCormack.

“From the moment the Mcor Matrix was launched the product became a global phenomena and we have been rolling out the product market by market in a bid to satisfy demand. Setting up an office in Silicon Valley really is the first step to rolling the Matrix out throughout the US – we have many potential customers in the US market simply waiting to use our technology,” said Mcor CEO and co-founder Dr Conor MacCormack.

The Matrix 300 is ready to use straight out of the box; builds models that are tough, durable and eco-friendly; and produces the industry’s lowest cost models. The Matrix 300 is also sold with in-house software Slice-IT and no additional hardware is required for post processing.

We see this as an important step in forging ahead with the Matrix Revolution and providing accessible 3D printing for everyone,” said Mcor CEO and co-founder Dr Conor MacCormack.

The Matrix 300 3D printer is now available in Europe and will be launched in the US in Q3 2011.
