Google Workshop at Maker Faire 2011 to Foster the Spirit of Creativity and Innovation Present in the Maker Community

Google will share some of their cutting-edge technologies at Maker Faire. Bringing their workshop to the Faire, with the theme of "Dream, design, build. Repeat." Google invites attendees to come meet and work alongside the Google Makers for two-days of creative, hands-on building and learning.

Part playground, part science fair, part welding shop, part county fair, and 100% unique, Maker Faire Bay Area 2011 provides something for every member of the family. At Maker Faire you will learn to tinker, hack, play, craft and more with over 700 Makers this year.

"Google has been a long time supporter of Maker Faire which makes perfect sense since they are Makers, too," said Sherry Huss, general manager and Maker Faire founder. "We are excited they are doing a workshop this year, as our attendees really like when they get hands-on experience with the products they use."
