Industrial Automation North America debuts this year in conjunction with IMTS at Chicago’s McCormick Place from September 10-15, 2012.  Hannover Fairs USA, Inc., a subsidiary of Deutsche Messe AG, one of the world’s top trade fair organizers and exhibition centers, announced that The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2012 pre-registration number surpasses total IMTS 2010 registration number of 82,411.

The largest and longest running manufacturing technology trade show in the United States is held every other year at McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill. IMTS 2012 will run September 10-15. IMTS is ranked among the largest trade shows in the world. Recognized as one of the world’s preeminent stages for introducing and selling manufacturing equipment and technology, IMTS attracts more than 82,000 visitors from every level of industry and over 119 countries.

“The inaugural Industrial Automation North America show sold out of exhibitor space this year with 30 percent more exhibitor space than our original commitment,” said Larry Turner, CEO of Hannover Fairs.  “This illustrates the fact that manufacturing is strong and that there is a need for innovative products to fuel continued growth.”
