Thermoplastic Composites for Automotive Conference 2016

The agenda has been finalized and registration is now open for the Thermoplastic Composites for Automotive Conference 2016 (TCC Auto 2016), presented by CompositesWorld, Plastics Technology, and Automotive Design and Production magazines. The event will be held June 15-16 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI, USA and is co-located with Amerimold 2016.

The TCC Auto 2016 program consists of presentations from materials and equipment suppliers, including new innovations in composites molding, such as injection overmolding and compression molding. Speakers will emphasize thermoplastic composites technologies that offer carmakers more opportunities to lightweight vehicles while maintaining, if not improving, performance.

The TCC Auto 2016 agenda includes two primary areas of emphasis: Applications and Materials for Thermoplastic Composites in Automotive and Machinery and Processes for Thermoplastic Composites in Automotive.

Day one of TCC Auto 2016 will kick off with a keynote address given by Cynthia Flanigan of Ford Motor Company who will discuss driving innovations and trends for next generation automotive composites. On day two the morning will begin with a presentation on Teijin’s thermoplastic composite material technology (Sereebo), delivered by Yutaka Yagi of Teijin Advanced Composites America, Inc. This will be the first public presentation of this technology in North America.
