FineLine Prototyping Now ISO 9001:2008 Registered

FineLine Prototyping, Inc. is pleased to announce that the company is now ISO 9001:2008 registered.  FineLine, a leader in the rapid prototyping industry, spent the last year formalizing conformance with the ISO 9001:2008 standard and all operations have been audited and registered as being in compliance.

FineLine Prototyping specializes in high-quality precision rapid prototyping.  What sets FineLine apart from its competitors is a high standard of quality.  To ensure that they consistently offer a service that meets the expectations of customers, they have historically always utilized rigorous processes, checklists, and procedures that guided all operations.  Therefore, many of the steps were already in place as FineLine worked to formalize conformance with the ISO 9001:2008 standard over the past year.

What compelled FineLine to tackle this effort after ten years of service to the rapid prototyping industry?  According to Rob Connelly, President and Founder, it enables FineLine to be a better company - better able to successfully serve the needs of customers.  “Any rapidly growing company faces potential product quality issues associated with training, record keeping and conformance with procedures, and ours is no exception,” stated Connelly.  “Our experience with implementation of this standard has already led to many improvements, and we know that we will continue to evolve and advance because of it.”
