InspectionXpert for SolidWorks Achieves SolidWorks Certified Gold Product Status

Extensible CAD Technologies LLC, global providers of CAD and PLM productivity software, today announced that longtime Partner Product, InspectionXpert® for SolidWorks, has just achieved Certified Gold Partner status with DS SolidWorks Corp.  With this certification awarded on January 7th, InspectionXpert for SolidWorks becomes the first Certified Gold Partner application for automating quality inspection documentation that is fully integrated into SolidWorks® software.

Engineering and Quality departments all over the world use InspectionXpert for SolidWorks software to instantly extract inspection dimensions directly from their SolidWorks drawings, create ballooned inspection drawings, and export to an inspection report form. This helps companies eliminate manual processes, reduce errors, and save up to 97% of the time it takes to create inspection documentation for first article, in-process, and final inspections.

For SolidWorks users, Gold Partner status ensures compliance with SolidWorks’ highest compatibility criteria, including prompt updates to support the very latest releases of SolidWorks.

“Integration between key product design applications can shave valuable time off of the design-to-manufacturing process and increase productivity,” said Nick Iwaskow, Manager, Alliances, DS  SolidWorks Corp.  “Integrating quality inspection automation directly within the SolidWorks environment helps designers and engineers improve communication between design and manufacturing and deliver quality products faster to their customers.”

“Achieving Gold Partner Certification is a major accomplishment and we are very proud that we have achieved this status for InspectionXpert for SolidWorks,” explains Jeffery N. Cope, President of Extensible CAD Technologies.  “We continue to see a strong demand for InspectionXpert for SolidWorks from companies across many industries—particularly aerospace, automotive, defense, medical device and oil & gas.  Companies in these industries at every level from the local job shop right up to the multi-national OEM are committed to streamlining and error-proofing their inspection documentation.  We feel that Gold Partner Status will give our customers added confidence in InspectionXpert.”

Extensible CAD Technologies will be demonstrating their SolidWorks Certified Gold Product, InspectionXpert for SolidWorks, at SolidWorks World 2011 in San Antonio, Texas, January 23 – 26, 2011.
