St. Louis Area Expo to Showcase U.S. Manufacturing

American contract manufacturing will be the focus at the Midwest Design-2-Part (D2P) trade show, June 13 & 14, 2012 at the Saint Charles Convention Center in the Northwest St. Louis suburb of St. Charles, MO. The show will exclusively feature exhibiting job shops and contract manufacturers with manufacturing operations in the United States.

From design ideas, to custom and stock parts, thru final assembly, manufacturers will find the instant answers they need face-to-face at the Design-2-Part Show. For over 37 years, manufacturers nationwide have relied on D2P Shows as the best place to meet high-quality, reliable American job shops and contract manufacturers who can help them build their products better.

The show features exhibiting companies covering more than 300 manufacturing and service categories for the metals, plastics, rubber, and electronics industries. Attendees will get their best opportunity of the year to meet face-to-face with new suppliers that can improve their quality, reduce their manufacturing costs, and shorten time-to-market. And with nearly 125 exhibiting companies, the show will be the largest design and contract manufacturing show ever held in Missouri.

The show in St. Charles is one of eleven Design-2-Part Shows that will take place in 2012 in major manufacturing hubs within the United States. Although most of the exhibiting companies at a D2P show are regional suppliers, located within 200 miles of the host city, many are national companies that offer manufacturing techniques and services that may not be readily available in that region. As per show policy, companies that do not have facilities in the U.S. are not permitted to exhibit.

The convention center features free on-site parking and is conveniently located off I-70 and just minutes from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. Show hours are 9:30-3:00 on both Wednesday and Thursday, June 13 and 14.
