Free AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit Tutorials for Students and Faculty

4D Technologies, a leading Autodesk Authorized Publisher specializing in learning solutions and services for the Autodesk Community, announces their CADLearning for AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit Architecture will be offered for free through July 2012 to registered members of the Autodesk Education Community. The offering is available through a dedicated learning management system which includes video tutorials, exercise files and assessments for a number of Autodesk software products and is available online, 24/7, anytime, anywhere.

The availability of the CADLearning products for AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit Architecture is an extension of 4D Technologies' current offering to the Autodesk Education Community, which previously included free CADLearning for Autodesk Inventor during the 2011-2012 school year. The initiative is part of a continued effort by 4D Technologies and Autodesk to make learning for popular Autodesk software products more accessible to students and educators.

"Students and educators now have access to comprehensive e-learning to supplement their design and drafting lessons and expand upon the classroom experience," says Dan Dolan, President and CEO, 4D Technologies. "4D is committed to aiding in the learning process for Autodesk software and I believe our products are complementary to the wealth of learning resources already offered in the Autodesk Education Community."

"Free access to 4D's training materials for Inventor, Revit Architecture and AutoCAD on the Autodesk Education Community helps to ensure that students and teachers have what they need to get proficient using Autodesk products as quickly as possible. We are proud to work with 4D in providing such a great resource" says Tom Joseph, Sr. Director of Education at Autodesk.

Subscribers can take advantage of two potential offerings; a free subscription that includes CADLearning for AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Revit Architecture, or a paid subscription that includes access to the entire library of CADLearning courses covering additional software applications like Autodesk 3ds Max, Autodesk Maya, Autodesk Navisworks and more.

The free learning is available to students, educators through July 2012. Users can sign up for access to the CADLearning courses from the Autodesk Education Community's Learning Center page.
