amerimold Announces Additive Manufacturing and Mold Manufacturing Conference Tracks

amerimold 2012 – the event for tool & moldmaking, molding and additive manufacturing – has announced conference sessions and keynote speakers for this year’s show being held June 13-14, 2012, at Novi, MI’s Suburban Collection Showplace.

The 2012 conference program includes two technical tracks dedicated to additive manufacturing and mold manufacturing.

The Additive Manufacturing track features leaders from xlaFORM, Vista Technologies, RapidTech and Innovative Medical Device Solutions presenting topics ranging from 3D printing to advanced materials; conformal cooling to the future of rapid product development.

The Mold Manufacturing track will focus on product and process technologies impacting all aspects of a mold’s lifecycle. Specific topics include five-axis machining, mold maintenance, workforce development, business best practices and customer service.

The conference tracks are interchangeable meaning registrants from one track may attend sessions from the other track. In addition, all conference registrants receive breakfast and lunch on both days of the show and admission to the opening night reception.

Highlighting both technical tracks will be two keynote presentations that explore advanced manufacturing and rapid product development in the performance racing and automotive industries. The first keynote will be delivered by Mark Bringle, Technical Sponsorship and Marketing Director, Joe Gibbs Racing. Mr. Bringle will examine rapid product development at Joe Gibbs Racing. A second keynote will explore process innovations applied through the manufacture lifecycle of the 2013 Roush Mustang. The keynote will be presented by Gary Jurick, VP and General Manager, Roush Performance Products.
