Allied Electronics Releases 2013 Catalog

Allied Electronics, a trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM),  released its 2013 Allied Catalog this month. The 2013 Allied Catalog showcases 10,000 new products in addition to the 115,000 products already featured in the book. Additionally, with two million parts accessible online, this breadth of product offering and product availability allows Allied to provide product solutions to a wide range of customers from various areas of industry and commerce.

New to this year’s catalog is an extensive product offering from Siemens. Other new suppliers include FLIR Commercial Systems, Interfan, Keithley Instruments/Tektronix, Spacecraft, wakefield-vette, WIKA Instrument Corporation and Yokogawa. Familiar brands such as TE Connectivity, Pepperl+Fuchs, Schneider Electric and Panasonic Electric Works are also included.

“The new catalog is designed to easily browse, research and compare products,” says Picky Malhotra, Director of Content, Catalog and Data Management at Allied. “It remains one of the best desktop tools for our customers. The catalog is not an ordering channel, but it is often the menu that is searched before ordering online.”

The new Allied 2013 Catalog was printed on sourced paper that meets the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification. The FSC has offered credible forest certification for more than 20 years and promotes environmentally sound, socially beneficial, and economically prosperous management of the world’s forests.

Allied Electronics is a small order, high service level distributor of electronic components and electromechanical products with over 50 sales offices across the United States and in Canada. With more than two million parts online and more than 115,000 products featured in the Allied Catalog, engineers and purchasers often look to Allied for a broad range of product solutions from over 300 world-class suppliers.

The 2013 Allied Catalog will soon be available in an online format.
